The actual testing period will last for an indefinite amount of time. After that, the game needs to get approved on consoles and we need to do various other things to prepare for release.

In my opinion, the overall gray coloring of the whites of the eyes effectively conveys Madoka's innocence.

Also, the contrast of the shadows in her hair uses colors that would typically be used in backlit situations, which I think creates a mystical atmosphere.
