I have never seen a shiny in a gba Pokemon game and today I encountered 2 in the Battle Tower, this is not fixed is it?

Went to da local meetup to have a pretty chill conversation on stage with @spacegamestudio.bsky.social (shame my friend barely include him on the pic). Had a great time and met very cool people.
Meatspace sometimes is ok.
Enhanced Edition*
If you're not the spellcasting type you can use your slots to equip Chitin Charms, a throwable gadget that also apply status effects on your foes, ideal for a rogue/ranged type playstyle.

New weapon type for FlyKnight: Wands
I want to empower players that enjoy spellcasting and wands are a way to, not only do some damage, but recharge your mana inbetween spellcasts.
Of course if you whip it out to enemies that are weak to magic it kind of shreds on its own lol.
Anyway thought I'd let you know, been having this conversation lately as it has been a common topic amongst my peers and my uncomfort with this topic has grown.
In fact it's very likely that your favorite solo-dev wasn't solo as well, you can always check the credits to make sure.
We tend to fetishize the idea that a single person made a game, and it's a rare and praiseworthy endeavor, but please fact-check before throwing the tag around.
I'm not a solo-dev
I may have called myself a solo-dev years ago, before Sorceress' Kickstarter but it has long since not been the case.
Yes I make my games and I have authority about what goes into them but calling that "solo" is disrespecting the work other people put in them.
Coolest FlyKnight collectors item you can get your hands on, includes a few pieces of awesome art and of course the jaunty tunes made by Michi.
Finally played @wabbaboy.dev 's Sorceress demo because it popped up in @noclipvideo.bsky.social Computer Worlds and can't believe I slept on that for so long
Proper indie Dark Messiah. Play it.
Completed my Hoenn dex today, including this little guy, which I never had as a kid. Yes, had to play a baby game to get it, it's fine, I survived.
If you enjoy the weird and cool worlds that we indie devs put out into the world please check out โ๐ ๐๐ก๐ฆ๐ฅ๐๐ฃ ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐๐๐ค and find a new strange thing to feed into your brain.
There is something seriously wrong with many games in there, bless you all for that.

Wouldn't call myself much of a collector but I present to you a recent acquisition of 2 of my favourites. They were 2nd hand but the key inside Dark Messiah still worked lmao, gave it to a friend.
Yea I p much update everything manually because I have had issues but it's not a specific one problem, it's a sort of things like dependencies fighting each other or dependencies inside wine or god knows what else, it's unstable and part of it is my fault. I wish things Just Worked.
Lol why so dramatic, is not a bad take. Accesibility should be about things Just Working and atm they kind of don't, and it's fair to critizise that.

Yea that is a great addition and completely unique to this game, makes the process of catching more challenging while also prevents them from killing themselves with a struggle type attack, overall everything related to the shadow mons is better.
Finished Pokemon XD, it was my first time playing it, and I enjoyed it but Colosseum was far better. This game is padded and has less sauce, but at least I got to see a lot of janky old models of the genwunners and that is such a sight to behold.
Review: backloggd.com/u/Wabbaboy/r...
Maybe if I used the thing for games and a couple of other things I'd be golden. But as a gamedev I use heaps of different software and often I have to install more and sometimes update them, at least I'm not missing something vital, but Lord oh Lord it has taken effort to get here.
That said this shit is NOT ready for general use, and afaik this is the normiest of the available distros, I'm not computer illiterate but I'm pretty dumb and sometimes impatient. I still think like an artist but I live glued to the computer.
Sounds pretty negative lol, but despite all that I pretty much love it and have been feeling more comfortable with my PC.
No random updating bullshit, no million bg processes, computer is fast, customized to my needs and I don't feel icky when I use it.
Everytime I decide to try some piece of software or want to tinker with the computer there is like a 60% chance that I won't be able to reboot my pc with a different flavour each time. Thankfully I've always been able to roll back and try again.
Nearing 10 months using Linux Mint as my main OS and atm I'm feeling hopeful that the future of Computers can be saved.
However, I ought to tell you, every couple of months or so I have to deal with some bullshit that won't let me launch my environment and I'll need to timeshift out of there.
