WE HAVE AN EXPLANATION!!! Apparently google forms updates the file name with a "- name", so this is not willful ignorance.
Now thinking there is a coordinated joke being played on me. I updated the wording to be clear with an example of what not to do as well. We are now 0 for 5 on correct file names submitted.
They are doing some version of this. So I need to have some non-examples too I suppose. This is why I have so much grace with students, many of my own peers disregard instructions as well.
I ask because three people have resubmitted and all three submitted incorrect file names
If the link to your file is not taking you to your camera ready paper this means you did not follow the camera ready directions when it came to file name, please submit a PDF of your paper with the file name in the proper format. That format is the THREE digit submission number of your paper. For example if your paper is 112, then your file name should be 112.pdf, but if your paper number is 67 then your file name should be 067.pdf, etc. This should be the same file you uploaded to your camera ready submission.
What it is about my directions that people are not understanding. Several people did not follow file naming directions (not shocking), I gave them a chance to fix it by submitting with the attached directions. If your submission 117 file name was joesmith-papertitle.pdf what would you change it to?
