Wait, we’re doing ~prestige~ Honey I Shrunk the Kids now?

Wait, is that normal where you are? I remember it was normal in *Seattle* when I was a kid visiting relatives and that blew my mind.

Last night I felt the thrill of the writer’s life when I googled benzo rehab timelines and rapidly convinced google that I needed to call a drug abuse hotline.

(I am not writing anything. I am just obsessing about tv show details.)

New state, right? What a fun time to learn a whole new set of procedures.

That plus it’s very annoying to arrive early, know they’d charge me a fee if I failed ro show, and then wait ages for the doctor.

MaxFun is about putting more good into the world in a sustainable way.

So, why does sustainability need new/upgrading members every year?

Because every year, folks drop off. Life happens! Not everyone can be a member right now. Maybe you can’t, either.

But maybe you can!

Never! Except obviously when I change the sheets which I suppose technically counts as ever.

I suspect I’m never going to be able to listen to Shawn’s Quinn story properly but if someone wants to write a good old-fashioned Jack/Robby (or even gen!) restaurant AU I will happily read it. #ThePitt

❤️

I mean the teachers at my high school weren’t allowed to discuss being gay when I was there. We had one out student in my year. The 90s were wild.

I would say uncommon up through the turn of the century.

Like plenty of us can say we were able to find joy in streamed events while it was happening and whatnot, but that’s in the middle of the massive trauma. It’s not “I’m glad that happened and am totally fine after it.”

Does this happen….without noise, though. That’s what I don’t understand.

1 day ago 1 0 1 0

And since we shall apparently never actually confront and deal with what that trauma WAS I guess we’re just gonna keep digging a hole as a society. So that’s cool.

There are some structural changes that are good, like working from home and more accessible streaming events.
But those have been mostly walked back, and the structural changes that SHOULD have happened and endured (improved air quality everywhere, better medical access, etc) simply have not.

There’s a huge difference between “is ok spending time alone” and “positively enjoys the pandemic.” Not to mention of course the fact that after 3 years of masking I caught covid for the first time and am still dealing with the long covid consequences.

Wait, are there introverts saying they ENJOYED it?

I’m an introvert who lives alone and I have no problem spending time on my own. But I had a huge problem with a massive global trauma that enforced distancing during which I basically didn’t touch another human being for 9 months. That’s different.
