Need guardrails for agent skills in your org? `skills-check policy` enforces trust rules via .skill-policy.yml — source allow/deny lists, banned patterns, freshness limits, metadata requirements, and audit gates.

Like cargo semver-checks, but for knowledge. `skills-check verify` analyzes content diffs between skill versions — heuristic + optional LLM — to validate that the declared semver bump matches actual changes. bit.ly/4aT1erx
A skill can pass every lint check and still produce wrong code. `skills-check test` runs eval suites through agent harnesses with 7 built-in graders, multi-trial execution, and baseline regression tracking.
skills-check is now a GitHub Action — catch stale, insecure, or bloated Agent Skills before they merge. One step, 10 commands, configurable thresholds.
Skills can reference hallucinated packages, inject prompts that exfiltrate env vars, or burn thousands of tokens on redundant content. So I built skills-check - 10 commands for the full agent skill quality lifecycle.
A mature ecosystem for skills, today.

Every package ecosystem builds the same quality infrastructure. Agent skills are the next packaging format - markdown files, run by an LLM. We're about to relearn all the same lessons unless we build the tooling now. So I started...

Your Agent's Knowledge Has a Shelf Life and every day you ignore it, your agents and skills are likely drifting into error land or worse, silent failures.
But we have seen this play before and I propose a fix for it. Meet skill-versions.com

There still is no conclusive evidence as to why there were so many "whoops" that came on during the 90s.
To this day, it remains a mystery...

Hey Luca, we have been doing JSConf's in places that are a bit remote intentionally and its why we provide bus transportation from major airports so people don't have to worry about cars, etc. Part of the experience is being detached from the hustle and bustle and engaging with each other.
We're back in business! Big thanks to @voodootikigod.bsky.social & @openjs.bsky.social for bringing JSConf back to NA ❤️ The whole @vlt.sh team will be there & hopefully many old & new faces. Get an early bird ticket before they are gone!
