Holy fuck
Always direct over etsy. It's a real shame what happened to etsy :(
Though I still use it often as unfortunately it's the only avenue for some crafters to get their stuff out there.
I love the purpleheart wood one!
Sometimes the only thing I can do to stop a spiral is to project the positivity I wish I could feel.
Sometimes, in the face of overwhelming negativity and oppression, all we have the energy for is to offer a hand to the person next to us to help them up.
It doesn't seem like a lot. But it is.
@akacki.net Hey man. Apropos of nothing, miss you dude. I'm really glad we're in this community together. 🖤
this is a life-saver of a setting for the ADHD crowd!!!
And by calling it they I’ve already anthropomorphized the bot :(
I wonder if they unwittingly (or on purpose) adopted the social media engagement bait trend of making mistakes in purpose to drive people to respond with corrections.
We all do better when we all do better.
I actually feel this way about YouTubers and other content generators on media streaming platforms. The audience is YouTube’s audience and the creators are driving YouTube’s product, until the creator does a lot of work to move the community somewhere else where they have more control over messaging
I’m literally wearing flip flops 😅
Fortunately I’m just connecting through
Oh no, I’m flying to MSP today.
WHAT AM I WALKING INTO?!
Do I know anyone (or know anyone that knows anyone) involved with BSidesPDX, or that area’s defcon group or anything?
I played it a little last night. I’m excited to see how it pans out as I get access to more of the card pool. But the new mechanics and characters are fresh and interesting.
Loving the necromancer! 🫳
Wtb more passkey support.
But also, 😡🤬 the silly places that support passkey but still want to text you a otp as a default auth mode so they can verify the phone number they’re selling to everyone with half a penny is correct.
And hospice care and history of solar panels is still inextricably linked to science. At least... I'd hope so 😂
I've really been shying away from "content creator" as that market has been steadily shifting towards "content above substance" for a long time now. We really do need another word for it. Though I think science communicator still fits. The medium is less important than the activity and impact.
Back on this again today! Working with the Adopt a Rent program on standwithminnesota.com, I’m adopting another rent.
This Minneapolis immigrant family has a total rent need of $2100. Can you help?

Please share and give if you can! Thank you! 🫶
Oh no
And to your other question, yes I agree those subsidies are bad. Not because the concept is bad, but because they went so over board with no time or cost limits that it incentivizes bad and wasteful practices. Internal investment and subsidies are good, actually, if they stimulate positive activity
In general I think tariffs only make sense if you’re actually competing. We haven’t been competing in manufacturing on a large scale in a long time. Charging your citizens a blanket tax on everything to “level the playing field” doesn’t do anything unless you invest in playing fields.
I moved to gitlab after their big DR fiasco that lost customer data and code. Not because of the screw up, but because of their response and write up. They’ve contributed to prove I made a good decision over time
I mean, we’ve been subsidizing sectors of farming like that for decades.
We’re still supporting you, MSP.

So long @wildwesthackinfest.bsky.social and thanks for all the fish. It was great seeing everyone and I can’t wait till the next one. Especially these n00bs
I’m at @wildwesthackinfest.bsky.social in Denver and we’re looking to hire for a wide variety of roles across IT and Security.
Did I mention we build Satellites? It’s pretty cool stuff.
If you’re here and looking for work, let’s chat. #WWHF #MileHigh2026
That’s one thing that the pandemic and a hello fresh subscription did for me. I’m much more confident in the kitchen after getting some practice with a variety of things. Really demystified it for me.
I still don’t enjoy it like others seem to, but I’m proficient at it.
Truly the “ugh, this tastes awful…. Try some” of movies
What a shit show of a movie. Glad you got to experience it 🤣
