Alternative Description: The piece is meant to be my love letter to spring and birthday gift to myself. Going to the east coast for school, the opposite of my home, made me realize how much seasons do have an affect on the way I feel; I just hadn’t noticed because there are few weather changes from where I come from. With combined seasonal depression and creative burnout, I found it very hard to believe I could find the passion to create again. But when the third spring in New York came along and the tulips bloomed again the way they did the year before, it gave me hope that one day I would do the same. Image Description: Self portrait inspired by the graphic illustration style of Alphonse Mucha. The figure in the middle, me, wears a white dress and brown heels(inspired by the Versace’s FW21 collection). Surrounding me is a bouquet of pink tulips, my favorite flower, with leaves that curl out and around me. The background features a halftone pattern of blue with a lighter blue heart trimmed with lace in the center. Stars of different shapes are scattered throughout the composition, some symmetrical some not. A single moon appears at the top, which happens to slightly resemble the moon phase on my birth date.

My oc Manao featured on roller skates in a pink vintage-inspired diner uniform serving burger, melon cream soda, and most importantly: cunt. In the larger image of him, he feeds you a spoon of ice cream with a cherry on top. The composition is predominantly a mint checkerboard pattern, decorated with various graphics meant to resemble stickers not dissimilar to those used for toploader decorations. The stickers are shaped like an assortment of confetti, mustard, and cherries. The title card is inspired by retro diner street sign.
