Asher the growlithe gently nudges a pokéball towards a big titty pokemon center lady, as an off panel Bell answers a question: kurokage asks: "Okay but wait. Hol' up. I am. VERY curious as to how a growlithe registers as a trainer and a human gets logged as a pokemon" Bell responds: "This is something Professor Aspen helped us do. To get approved for the gym challenge, Asher had to show a clear ability to perform the basic duties of a trainer without my help: catching pokémon, using items, using pokéballs, getting pokémon healed, etc. For me to get approved for fighting in battles, I had to demonstrate an ability to use moves and actually battle."

It would have been less of a hassle if I wasn't also a part of Asher's team, but there's a good chance that at some point I'll faint, and Asher needs to handle things while I'm indisposed.

Bell answering two questions: "Where did Bell and Asher meet?" and "So first of all, Bell is adorable. But I think the obvious question is how did she wind up in this situation?" Bell says "These are related, so: Asher is my growlithe, I originally just had them as a pet, but when my friend suggested we do the gym challenge, Asher was very excited for it." which is accompanied by a doodle of a happy Bell and Asher She continues: "To celebrate starting our gym challenge together, my friend and I had a Pokémon battle... and I choked really hard. I didn't want Asher to get hurt, but they just got hurt more for it." accompanying the commentary with a picture of her crying as an eevee tackles Asher, and a green haired person looking on in disgust. finally: "Not giving up, I decided to train with Asher against wild pokémon. But they got frustrated with me, and started pushing me in to do the battle; Barking, and mimicking a tackle until I did it too. That fight ended with me and the wild Patrat tackling into each other, before the Patrat fled. After that fight, I tried asking Asher yes or no questions to figure out what they were trying to do: they wanted to be the trainer, and wanted me to try battling." accompanying the commentary is a pic of bell and a patrat tackling each other at once.
