Ah yes, I keep forgetting the passages where Jesus talks about having ripped abs, tearing off our shirts, and being constantly ready to seek, destroy, and conquer.
Morons, all of them.

Simple and well said. AI has zero perspective and zero human lens to look through. AI doesn’t feel, wonder, ache, contemplate, regret, love, or travel. AI doesn’t know how it feels to make eye contact, or to have another hand brush theirs.
Humans do, and human writers are irreplaceable.
Starting to wonder if my primary care physician would accept “Orioles” on my list of ailments at the age of 40.
Just kidding, hits and more hits and a walk that lead to a grand slam is a nice thing. Well played.
Nice and chill, aye?
I mean, I wondered out loud about McGwire as hitting coach. Yes, he didn’t want a daily role and yes it was a pipe dream, but… *gestures at our offense*

How it felt watching Beavers get an RBI single.
The home plate ump blew a gasket earlier because Alby was barking at him about his strike zone. Then, as soon as Baltimore runs out of challenges, the umps strike zone gets out of whack simply because no one can challenge him. Irritating, to say the least.
Literally said “please chill and don’t get picked off again,” blinked, and he got picked off again. W I L D.
With you all the way. He’a trying to get things going, but holy smokes did he take the wind out of the team’s sails twice today.
How it felt watching Sammy get the RBI single.
Of all three coaching finalists, his Spurs are the team that no one thought would be ready *this* year. Most had them as players next season, which tells me COTY belongs to Mitch Johnson.
Don’t mind a 1 seed getting knocked around once in a while. I’ll be shocked if DET doesn’t correct itself in game 2.
Huge reason why I loathe so many of the recent car commercials that feature a car that THINKS/SEES FOR YOU, THE DRIVER. Too many ads have drivers looking away/not at all/at other things while the car corrects things for them.
How about hell no? If you cannot be responsible, you cannot drive.
Great thread.
*starts wondering if Blaze can add being a pitcher to his repertoire*
A catastrophe of epic proportions. Are we great yet?
This administration has always been, and continues to be, an absolute dumpster fire.
It’s been brutal. Folks keep saying “the national average for gas…” and I’m yelling “I’d take that right now.” Bonkers.
“Across the U.S., an estimated 36,640 people died from traffic crashes in 2025, down nearly 7% from the year before.”
It’s not hard to imagine how many of these souls would still be alive if we actually held reckless drivers accountable.

It’s amazing how weeks turn into months and you can sort of forget you have a whole manuscript out there making the rounds.
Manuscripts and people: just wanting to be accepted.
Keep writing.
Sorry to hear this, Amy. Praying for a confirmed opportunity to come your way soon.
Step four: have them ask if they can contact your references before you even get home ✅
Step five: get invited to be their guest at an upcoming banquet ✅
Yeah, he broke another bat over the knee, too. Hopefully some of the vets are letting him know he’s hitting things hard, but this one was just a nice play. He’s young, so I get it, but the team and staff need to come alongside him.
Pete Alonso is a man on fire.
Gimme a double or a home run, Gunnar. We believe!
Step three: crush interview ✅
Troy Percival is not walking through that door, that’s for sure.
Hopefully they’ll hold the lead today.
