Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics reports that 76% of residents are Jewish or classified as "others," 21.1% are Arab, and 2.9% are foreign workers. With 27% of the population under 14 and only 13% over 65, Israel remains one of the world's youngest nations.

Ahead of Israel's 78th Independence Day, the nation's population has reached 10,244,000, with more than a quarter under age 14. Additionally, approx. 177, 000 babies were born in Israel this year.
