Ok that helps but also that little stop motion chef was so sad he had so many great ideas
Against my better judgement, for god knows what reason, I rewatched the video of the tiny chef finding out his show got cancelled over the phone and now I'm sad again

Woke claims another victim 😞
It's wild how normal and mainstream anime has become. I've been meeting a bunch of my younger cousins, all in their 20s, who I haven't seen in years, and they all watch at least some. For people in their 20s, it's become as reliable a conversation starter as talking about sports
The dentist: "so how is life going"
I did watch the special from a few years ago and enjoyed it somewhat, but I'm very behind on anime so haven't tried anything from the new season yet
Apocalypse Hotel, Orb, Milky Subway, Summer Hikaru Dies, Apothecary Diaries, Call of the Night
We finished up the 2025 Anime of the Year voting in the discord server I run, which serves as a good reminder to all of you that you should go watch Milky Subway: The Galactic Limited Express
(I had wanted Orb to win, oh well)

I still can't work out what kind of sex position 67 is
Important to note from this statement is that Hiroyuki Yamaga told Gainax employees to pretend he was in the hospital in one of several attempts to avoid repaying the money Anno loaned to them
There's a few too many anime where the "bad ending" was more a "bad every episode past the 5th"
Its so bad I remember more about the ending than the actually quite good rest of the series
Myself and the wife were discussing bad anime endings and I realised most bad endings I just sorta jettisoned from my mind so I no longer remember the details. The ones whose awfulness still burnt bright in my mind were Acca 13 and Erased
Of all the trends in left wing online discourse,"it's not my job to educate you" was definitely up there as one of the worst and most self-defeating
Trust me, it's better that nested tooltips exist than don't lol. Crusader Kings 3 brought in nested tooltips and it was a godsend for at least trying to understand wtf you're looking at
Not yet unfortunately. My computer is on a shipping container still. I am, however, eyeballing potentially breaking the seal and playing it via cloud gaming. I've never done it before but I've always been interested in the technology
2 months to sort the crash bugs, 2 years to fix the ai bugs
I gots a copy of EU5! I have no Internet, my computer is sitting in a port on the east coast of the US, and I have no desk on which to put it anyway, but at least I have the game to play when it all gets here!
That period in between moving to a new house and waiting for the Internet to be set up is the closest to dying and ending up in limbo there is on this earth
On a boat, which idk if they have mid-Atlantic internet on that
Europe Universalis 5 is coming out right when my computer will be in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean darn
Sometimes the BBC throws up a set of headlines that makes it feel like a parody of itself
I'm baffled by the SpaceX rocket explosions. Did rockets used to blow up in the past constantly too and I was not aware of it? Is it just it gets shared widely every time it happens so it feels like it happens more than it should?
I just feel like they shouldn't be blowing up so many rockets
Decided not to count anything I only saw one episode of because that felt like it didn't really count. I don't know why 2013 is so weirdly barren, I guess I just didn't watch a bunch of the popular anime at the time? You can see the drop in more recent years, but honestly still going pretty strong
I didn't post about it because I forgot how to post online anymore, but Orb is A+ fantastic anime that I highly recommend to absolutely everyone.
...but man do I wish it knew how to draw stuff at night. Half the time I couldn't see shit
In case anyone who's followed me for a while has wondered what I've been up to, my latest obsession has been modding Europa Universalis 4, specifically the big fantasy overhaul mod Anbennar.
Anyways, here I am being interviewed by a vtuber to talk about space lizards for an hour
I think there's just something in that aesthetic I've never really liked. Same with Slay the Spire. Loved the game to bits, but never cared for how it looked
So if I loved the original Monster Train but specifically didn't care for the art/music/presentation, would this be considered an upgrade gameplay-wise?
Doodles of Chikorita messily eating a cup of whip cream.

A Twitter screenshot. “Here in Albany we love those that are gay, bisexual, transgender, and even Irish” Pictured is a photo of those exact flags, and edited on top are portraits of Lockon Stratos (Lyle Dylandy), Setsuna F Seiei, Allelujah Haptism, and Tieria Erde.
Been meaning to make this edit for months now.
