In a letter obtained by the Guardian, Assistant AG Patrick Davis told Comer that since Bondi is no longer AG, DOJ's position is that "the subpoena no longer obligates her" to appear.

“We kindly ask that you confirm that the subpoena is withdrawn" he said.
