Check this out! Should be a terrific meeting!
Tomorrow is the last day to submit an abstract for @keystonesymposia.bsky.social meeting Beyond Antibiotics: Emerging Strategies Combating Bacterial Infections.
It is going to be an amazing meeting and we have a few slots left!

Study co-led by the amazing @qianxuan.bsky.social & Lakshmi Srinivasan!
Over 3 years we performed WGS-based surveillance of S. aureus in the NICU at @childrensphila.bsky.social, sequencing both surveillance and bloodstream infection isolates, to understand how colonization, transmission, and persistence are associated with invasive infection in high-risk neonates.

Cool story! Congratulations on this preprint!
Taken together: The neonatal liver undergoes a developmentally hard-wired Treg wave facilitated by cDC1s needed to restrain activation and promote tolerance in conventional T cells that respond to both microbes and self in early life. (10/10)
