The UK is giving up on America. Now talk of a Brexit U-turn is growing louder
Closter ties with Europe are the 'patriotic choice' Britain's Brexit chief said

Keir Starmer claiming to be staggered that he wasn't told that Peter Mandelson had failed vetting.
In reality he'd already been warned by the Propriety and Ethics Team about Mandelson's Epstein and Russian links and appointed him anyway, despite the full vetting not having concluded yet
On the topic of vetting rows, shouldn't there be calls for Farage to resign given how many dire candidates have actually passed Refuk's vetting...?
I wonder why people who profess to be horrified by the practice aren’t shouting their delight from the rooftops…

**COVID-19 BEREAVED FAMILIES FOR JUSTICE** --- Nigel Farage MP Leader of Reform UK Millbank Tower 21-24 Millbank London SW1P 4QP 17 April 2026 Dear Nigel Farage, We are writing on behalf of Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice UK, a group formed by people whose loved ones died from Covid-19 and who have fought ever since for truth, accountability and the changes needed to save lives in future. More than 230,000 people across the UK died from Covid-19. It is therefore deeply concerning that there is an emerging pattern of Covid and vaccine conspiracy theories among Reform UK candidates in the upcoming local and devolved elections. These falsehoods are an insult to those who died, cause real pain to the bereaved, and put public health at risk. Recent reporting has linked Reform candidates to a series of Covid and vaccine conspiracy claims. David Booth, standing for Reform in Croydon, was reported to have described Covid-19 as a "staged event" designed by "powerful forces". Glenda Hall, a Reform candidate in Sunderland, shared material asking whether Covid was the "hoax of the century". Emma Clatworthy, a Reform candidate in Wales, was reported to have shared a claim that people were rushing to get a vaccine that "can kill them". Kenneth Morton, a Reform candidate in Scotland, reportedly liked posts describing Covid-19 as "a psychological hoax" treated with a "fake vaccine". These are serious falsehoods about a virus that killed more than 230,000 people in this country, and about vaccines that saved millions of lives. When people seeking public office promote claims like these, they lend them credibility and put public health at risk. Yesterday, the UK Covid-19 Inquiry published its Module 4 report on vaccines and therapeutics. The report says Covid-19 vaccination programmes are estimated to have saved 14.4 million lives worldwide in their first year. More than 450,000 lives were saved in England and Scotland up to March 2023. But it also highlighted the need…
Covid Bereaved Families for Justice have written to Reform following my story on the party's Covid-conspiracy theorist candidate and others
BBC today correct Nigel Farage's false claim to Nick Robinson on Political Thinking (13th February 2026) that net migration was only down due to an "exodus" of people leaving the UK since 90% of net migration fall was a fall in immigration. After my 3rd complaint!

Bereaved family members of Covid victims write to Nigel Farage urging him to sack his Croydon candidate who said COVID was a "staged event" by the US military, with vaccines used to control the population.
Reform has not responded to our story revealing his views

Poll: should Britain rejoin the European Union? Current status shows 85% yes.
I don’t typically share dailymail links but this one has a poll you might want to vote on.

The Labour government is still doing this shit. With everything going on, Labour is still doing this shit.
The high court said the ban was “disproportionate and unlawful” and yet the Met decided it was time to arrest people again.
They have no legal right.

McVey made her claims “in an opinion piece in the Express and on X”
Enough said.
Radicalised bullshit masquerading as fact, in order to stir up a bit of anti-Khan Islamophobia, to scare people into voting for rightwing liars.
These dismal people are such a threat to our democracy and wellbeing.
Today's newsletter: although of the three scenarios that would explain 'he's failed his developed vetting - oh well!', only one is traditionally a resigning matter, all three reveal a man either unwilling or unfit to do the actual job of prime minister.
I see we’ve entirely given up on the idea that elected representatives should take the hit when things go wrong on their watch
Gent in gray slams Reform UK #BBCQT

Meet the new boss - same as the old boss
Four years ago
If you step back, it is truly extraordinary that so many people went to such great lengths and broke so many conventions and risked their political careers and the only outcome of all these efforts and risks was appointing a washed-up old spinner to an ambassadorial post
There certainly is a sizeable cohort of voters who "passionately dislike this country and the society they live in" but I'm pretty sure they aren't young female Green voters
Every single day is Nigel Farage Free Pass day at the BBC. Literally above scrutiny. #BBCBreakfast #r4today #wato #bbcpm
All the stuff about vetting, advisers and process misses the point that everyone knew who Peter Mandelson was, what he had done and who he had associated with for literally years before Keir Starmer made him ambassador and lots of people pointed it out at the time. He appointed him anyway
There is no good way out of this for him.
The real burning questions are:
1. Why was a man whose integrity was known and proven to be lower than a dachshund’s nutsack, be elevated to such a position of power and influence?
2. Could it be that someone somewhere was being personally rewarded?
Rhetorical - we all know the answers.
Just so you know this Doctor was struck off because he was found Guilty of
17 Charges of Misconduct.
But the Daily Mail defends people like that with garbage like this.
So... #Farage thinks it's fine for his car to park in a disabled space. Because, after all, he's far more important than a mere disabled pensioner trying to drop his wife off.
And allowing his thugs to manhandle the gentleman is fine, too.
Are we happy with this? *

THE REFORM WARS HAVE BEGUN! (again) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How many more people are going to have to resign for Keir Starmer's decision to ignore the advice of every single person who told him not to appoint Peter Mandelson?
