to be some sort of disease that your protagonist is trying to avoid catching - bc they *can't* catch it. in fact, oftentimes we wish we *could*, because as much as people want to convince us otherwise, living life without a committed partner is fucking *hard*.

and I think we really captured that.

there's a very specific emotion of unease, fear, and confusion that I think a lot of aspec people have when they're still figuring it out, and that's what I wanted to capture here. aspec horror is tricky because you never want to depict romantic/sexual attraction as a bad thing, nor do you want it

(🧵) I'm being so annoying abt this episode bc it's a story I've wanted to tell for a long time. it's a horror story, inspired by my experiences discovering my aspec identity. I rlly hope it resonates with other ppl on the aro/ace spectrum and helps ppl that aren't empathize with us more
