April is the cuellest month and I didn't expect, when I started writing about #Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader, to be name-checking poet T.S.Eliot, but here we are.

I'm quite excited to see the film, as a big fan of the liminal horror concept.

What it makes me think of is, imho, one of the best horror novels ever - the sublime, disturbing and multilayered (literally!) House of Leaves.

The Slann also ended up in #warhammer 40K! I was lucky enough to interview sculptor Trish Carden for the book, who talked of her memories of creating the Space Slann, "It would have been something along the lines of .. 'we want to move the Slann into space .... " [1/3]

There is a cultural value to these objects so some kind of preservation would be good imho

New growth business might be oldhammer authentications like in episodes of Antique Roadshow telling folks how much the Land Raider family heirloom is worth

I yearn for all my original miniatures lost over the years. 😞
