I personally use CD's all the time, my car doesn't have a tablet in it so I just use the CD player and it's a great experience. I think I have your entire CD collection? I prefer Memories Of on cassette, though (which, by the way, I absolutely love the unique art for).

I personally use Musicbee, it's had a learning curve for me but has some great customization and flexibility.

Big anti-shoutout to Spotify for screwing artists, adding AI "songs" and "musicians", prioritizing growth over sustainability and generally sucking big time. Switching to a flac player has been one of the most fun decisions of my life, even if it means my Wrapped looks like this until I edit it.

My Spotify Wrapped this year. Wait, Cat, don't you not have Spotify? Yeah... I've been tracking my music on Google Sheets. It's inconvenient, but it's fun, and I can still join in on Wrapped! Hoorah!

Thanks for spreading the message. I quit spotify last year and haven't looked back, not even for wrapped. been using a mp3 player + CD's and tracking my listening manually, but even with streaming, better services exist, so I'm glad to see people waking up.
