Can I come back ππ»ββοΈ
First of a few postings for jobs in my lab-we are hiring an entry level technician! www.gwu.jobs/postings/124...
π¨Thrilled to share I am able to hire someone (PhD preferred) with coding expertise to work on our HAPPE software for EEG! Knowledge of Matlab, Python, and EEG signal processing required. Enthusiasm for teaching/mentoring, collaboration, and developmental science preferred!
Accidentally slide mounting a bug was not on my 2026 bingo card but desperate times call for desperate measures, Iβll take whatever subjects I can get π¦
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.
This review looks at the developmental nuances of anxiety from adolescence to adulthood, and draws comparisons between rodent π and human ππ»ββοΈ neuroscience literature π§ This paper was a long time labor of love (and sweat and tears) so I couldnβt be more thrilled to see it in press. Give it a read!
π£New review π£ Hot off the presses! This paper from a recent special issue in @fluxsociety.bsky.social was a collaborative effort between myself and co-lead author @rebeccahennessy.bsky.social with the support of our PIs Heather Brenhouse and Juliet Davidow. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
π¨π¨π¨ The Subjectivity Lab is looking for a lab manager! The position is available immediately. We want someone who can help coordinate our large sample fMRI study, plus other behavioral work. Because *gestures at everything* the job was approved only now (ends in June 2026). Great opportunity! 𧡠1/4
Yes, I am on the academic job market looking to start my own lab at the intersection of molecular, computational, and systems neuroscience! If you think my work may be interest to your department, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Thank you, Keri!
The internet is healing ππ€πΌ
Thanks Kenny!
Happy to share that my (first) first author paper from the Brenhouse Lab is officially out in Neurobiology of Stress! Here, we investigated the impacts of early life adversity on the adolescent amygdala π§

That someone was me! Would love to be added, bring back the 2018 era energy!
Said goodbye to two amazing long time undergrads of the lab today (some of my first students)!
I am so lucky to have gotten the chance to mentor these two, and canβt wait to see what they do!
Thank you to anyone who answered my millions of questions, listened to me talk about this project non-stop for 2 years, provided feedback, wrote me a letter, or joined the project. Time for some amazing science!
Thrilled to share the notice of award for my F31 NRSA application with NIDA! Science truly takes a village, and Iβm feeling particularly built up by mine today.
Reply here or DM me if you want to be added! Looking forward to building up this community!
