I did a monthly rental agreement (not lease) with my last roommate and it worked out well. She was a work colleague of my son, so not an entirely unknown quantity.

Emailed the support asking how to be removed, and got a lecture in response. I insisted that they remove me. They eventually complied.

I said this shit was gonna happen as soon as Smashwords announced the takeover.

They pinged me about the new fees even though I've never made a dime from Smashwords (lots of free downloads with very high ratings, but as soon as I set a price of $1, nothing) and I've not published anything in 10 years. I couldn't find an easy way to remove my profile and delist my works.
