I love that there can be some incredible world-building and character studies in the 40k universe, and then there's also this guy with iron hands who leads the Iron Hands on his ship called the Hand of Iron and his name is just latin for "iron hand"

As a Corvus Corax stan, this is 100% accurate and it's exactly what I love about him - and really 40k as a whole. The juxtaposition of some genuinely well written stories that have to put up with and justify some of the stupidest lore ever, thought up on whim 35 years ago to fill a tabletop rulebook
