Writing villains is my favorite. My MMC started out as a 100% villain and inches closer to redemption over an ever growing mountain of bodies.
But whenever I'm stuck, I just ask "what would the biggest jerk do?" And I have the next scene

I finished the rough draft of the last installment in a 4 book series, now in revision. Then preparing for beta readers.
The other 3 are being revised, with a focus on preparing 2 and 3 to be more standalone to maximize querying options

Psychic abilities require drugs, implants, and training to be practical. Their discovery in the distant past (21st century) was a fluke. Some uses, eg making anti-gravity objects, weren't discovered until much later. All practical uses are highly specific and limited. General use is next to useless

I write SF. I always try mystery but drift into thrillers and action. I'm rounding out my fourth project in a world where a psychic discovery allows FTL and terraforming. Conspiracies grip planets and the galaxy at large. Characters try to unravel conspiracies as they navigate unfamiliar worlds
