Using plug-ins on WP is legit asking for trouble for more than just securiy reasons. If you really need to use one, only go with the absolute bare minimum and stick official ones. Sadly, still so many features most people would consider basic do require a plug-in, it's insane.

Something I noticed with Audacious: you can actually read video files with it without any issues (though of course, there's only audio). Really handy if you're too lazy to convert that MV you downloaded from a certain You place ;)
