These quotes show what a fanatical and ideological company Palantir is, obsessed by American force and power, wholly devoted to malign U.S. interests, and completely unsuitable as a contractor in any part of UK government, let alone the NHS. A company wedded to “might is right”. techrepublicbook.com
Tice Tax
'The Sunday Times reported that these companies, linked to his investment firm Quidnet, did not pay tax on profits, which then benefited his investment company and led to significant donations to Reform UK.'

The party’s deputy leader says he will ‘pay what is owed if numbers need rechecking’ after more revelations from The Sunday Times'

This is not news, it's propaganda regardless of whether you like Starmer or not.
Went to Waterstones this morning. It wasn’t even open yet. Will they stop at nothing to stop me from buying Britain’s number one selling paperback?
I wonder how much of that usage is "knowing usage", and how much is hidden from the user. Example: Google's top pick...
Farage thugs manhandle man with pacemaker after he objects to the Reform leader's chauffeur parking in disabled bay that he needs to use.

Bad news! The Wayback Machine has saved my butt several times, finding sites/states that I couldn't find otherwise.
Bit of a different column today, which I hope people find interesting: The internet’s time machine is starting to run out of time itself // Nothing on the internet lasts, and that’s why the Wayback Machine’s problem is your problem too www.stuff.tv/features/the...
Fantastic news!!! 👏 👏 👏 👏 More work needs to be done in public health to encorage/spread the word about vaccines - a lot of idiocy remains from the covid era.
Intriguing... Drach is one of my favourite Youtubers, but V3 has been a disappointment. It'll be interesting!
Please repost if you agree that the BBC has been undermining democracy and enabling foreign interference in our politics by promoting and protecting Farage.
My grandfather made to 107 (and 2 days). Keep on truckin', Troy. :-)
This is right, but I'd go further: winning the domestic argument on the free movement of people is what's needed to unlock anything further than the reset. That means Starmer has to repudiate many of his own arguments on migration.

I'm in the middle of a Xenonauts2 run, but will take another look at Stellaris after that, then. Thanks!
Yes, that's when. Version 4, iirc. What was familiar became unfamiliar, and I have other things and games!
Last time I played Stellaris was a while ago, but I found I was playing an entirely different game from the one I was used to, decided I couldn't be bothered learning it, and stopped.

Lower Bills. Protect the NHS. Keep us out of US wars.
Solid from Zack Polanski
Rejects the idea of pitting pensioners against students
Says the real divide is between the 99% and the 1%
And that we should tax the rich more
I wonder what chats he had with granddad Oswald Mosley.
One could argue that you could manage the flight of the monied following higher taxes by tying civic benefits to residency.
we had this already it was called “the entirety of fantasy, SF, and horror”

President Trump threatened to obliterate every power station and bridge in a country of 90 million people on Tuesday night in prime time and basically no one is bothering to even ask him how that is not a “war” that would require authorization from Congress under Article I of the Constitution.

If we have to have change in British politics and government, I would be ok with a Green government (potentially likely with a LibDems as coalition partner if the numbers from that poll are to be confirmed).
For how how long have we been told that the US has this fabulous written Constition whereas we do not?
But the US Constitution has been shown to be the emperor with no clothes
It might as well be a blank sheet of paper
It might as well not exist
The US is acting entirely on the whim of one man
