If I understand correctly, the ICE agents assigned to the TSA aren’t actually screening passengers or baggage. They’re just standing around providing “security” (something the airport police already were doing).
What a joke.

An idyllic Midwest scene, the familiar dairy farm with silo and outbuildings, sunlit and a little worn: it's my Uncle Fuzzy's Barn.
I'm drawn to the diagonal fence and the chain that leads the eye, the dark band of pines holding the horizon.
This one feels […]

False Hellebore (Veratrum viride), also known as Indian Poke. Do not eat! Of the Plantain Lilies class.
Tim Boese's image of "As Below, Boreal," is a close study of False Hellebore, Veratrum viride, also known as Indian Poke.
Broad leaves fan into a steady, quiet pattern, a play of pale lime to deep forest green with fine veins and shadowed pockets that make the […]

This photograph by Bernadette Longo captures the essence of a journey as a visual metaphor: a path winds through a tranquil forest. Rays of warm light filter through trees at a gate near the end of the trail. Is a breakthrough coming? As we meditate on this image, we feel inspiration and hope. Yes, there are choices and decisions, each leading down a different road. Clarity and insight may await if we follow the path that speaks to our hearts. This piece encourages reflection and contemplation, making it a perfect addition to any space seeking calm and inspiration.
Bernadette Longo’s "The Way Forward" shows a quiet corridor of trees where light finds a pale gate. Cool shadows keep things hushed while warm bands of light make the trail feel open and possible.
We love the calm it brings and the tiny nudge to move ahead […]

Lower Manhattan faded into an amber haze during the 2023 Canadian wildfires, skyline reduced to quiet silhouettes and the Air Quality Index climbed toward 500.
Muted ochres and dusty golds flatten details and leave a pale, diffuse glow. A low pier, a small […]

In "Every Second Counts: Touchdown Triumph" the celebration leaps out of the End Zone. In pure exhilaration, a player celebrates a last minute win, embodying the spirit of competition. This posterized high contrast image captures the intensity of the game, the scoreboard ticking down, reminding us that every second matters.
Time stops for a few tense heartbeats: the scoreboard reads 0:12, a player sprints over the line with arm raised, and the crowd explodes
Bold posterized contrast simplifies chaos into clear motion, with diagonal lines and an outstretched arm pulling everything […]

Exposed layers of old glacial blue ice allow you to look back into the changing climate over time
Cool bands of ice blue stack like pages of a slow history. Exposed layers of old glacial blue ice let us look back into the changing climate over time.
Small streaks of moraine and melt lines keep the view honest in this image by Tim Boese.

Women protest for their power over the media-broadcast misogyny of Donald Trump with handmade Pussy Hats and a sign that says, "Old Pussies Rise Up and Resist"
This fluorescent pink placard stops you in the frame, the hand-lettered line, "OLD Pussies RISE UP and RESIST," reading like a shouted rallying cry.
Creases, bundled hats, and a white-haired profile suggest a close, determined crowd that mixes sharp humor with […]

Trump does not think strategically, historically, geographically, or even rationally. He does not connect actions he takes on one day to events that occur weeks later. Allied leaders know that if they help him in the Gulf, he won't be grateful, or even remember
www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...
It's not that Twitter "wound up" that way or fell into it by accident.
Jack Dorsey explicitly courted the Black American/ and African markets. And set up offices on the continent.
The main point is you can't get scale without intentional investment.
But they remember
I know Google let go of "don't be evil" but taking the first plane out of the state when they ask for a small percentage of your wildly lofty wealth is kinda, sorta in the realm of being evil with your spoils.
A child on his father's shoulders holds a sign that says "Families Belong Together" at a protest in Elizabeth, New Jersey against the detention camp near Newark Airport, holding children separated from their parents in inhumane conditions
Of all my protest shots, THIS ONE tells the most in-a-nutshell story from a New Jersey detention center: a child on an adult’s shoulders holds a handmade sign that reads "Families Belong Together" at a protest near Newark Airport.
Tiny hand, big message—signs […]

This enchanting print invites you to step through verdant vines into the lush greenery of the New Jersey Pine Barrens, where the historic Kirby's Mill stands witness to a bygone era, its restored red siding reflecting in the tranquil mill pond. Peering through the tangled branches, you can almost hear the hum of the mill's waterwheel echoing across centuries. Overgrown foliage brings a sense of mystery and discovery, as if you stumbled on a hidden gem.
