and warrant anything over 2 hrs or even 90 mins ! lost emotional connection with both films as a result. don’t get me wrong I love a slow burn but it doesn’t always equal half an afternoon or evening

why are films so overlong these days ? saw 2 x Netflix films at the weekend. against my better judgement as cinema and the big screen no distractions is always the best way ! and both #frankenstein and #wakeupdeadman could have lopped at least 20 mins off running time. Films need to deserve

I've redrafted a play many times after feedback. i think it's good but for the life of me no one buys it or at least gets it. if i had the money i would put it on myself at Edinburgh It's not easy writing plays but I can't give up. need friends in the industry #theatre #playwriting #playwright

i’m editing down my play quite ruthlessly feedback was show not tell I think and I have a note above my desk ‘ trust in the audience’ changing the title. let’s see how that goes ..
