Oof that really sucks. Especially after you put so much effort into it. Wishing you the best of luck! Iβm sure the right team will see your value.

Just got back from #FWA2025
Wore my self-made fursuit to a con for the first time β Iβve never felt more welcome.
I met, hugged, and took photos with 47 of you.
The warmth, kindness, and creativity in this community are unmatched.
Thank you for making it unforgettable.
Thank you @xiphic.bsky.social for making such an amazing world! Absolutely love the sim!
Lone starfall.
Gravity obeys.
New item unlocked: weighted tail
It's done! I've finally finished making my first head!
A lot of details can be improved, but I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Putting my spare VR light seal into use.
I found this to be better than gluing a lining because the cushion makes it super conformable for a hard 3D base. Plus, I can detach it to wash or just Velcro in a new one.
Had an idea to make a board for all the pins on my backpack.
Oh that's pretty smart -- using the VRChat avatar's head. I actually made a VR headset stand using my avatar's head a while back. bsky.app/profile/leoa...
Thanks! I ended up using PLA for my print. I bought TPU but figured I'd do a test print with PLA -- turned out pretty well! As for the ed head, that took two rolls to print π
Your base looks very good! Did you modeled it yourself? Are you making an otter head? and... what's the top left part for..?
Oh hey how's your 3D head base going? I ended up printing these and will start making my first head soon! bsky.app/profile/leoa...
I think that's all the 3D printed parts I need to get started ....
After 22 hours of printing -- my headset stand came out really well!
A quick test print before scaling it up 10x
Latest print

Thank you! Yeah the issue I ran into if that after I pinned the concave and convex edges. As I sew, excess fabric seems to build up because the sewing is flattening the curved edge, and that disrupts the alignment.
Iβll try lifting the pressure foot and turn the work!
Just finished my first sewing project tonight! The tail looks awful, but I had a lot of fun learning how to make it.
I struggled with sewing the curved edges β any tips for a beginner?
I unironically got one π
Getting a sewing machine was not in my 2025 bingo card...
I saw you at ANW!
But in all seriousness, there's not much alternatives to quest though -- dealing with Steam VR headset is whole other can of worms...
