I’m good with BlueSky because it was founded by Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter to create a decentralized social network - thereby seeking to resolve the issue of privately owned platforms like X and Facebook which are now in the hands of bad faith actors.

It seems to be more about the power than the money now - especially for Elon Musk. I’ve seen a lot of right wing propaganda on Twitter recently attacking lots of western democracies. Dark days ahead.
