I said what I said.
As for that last one, that is sheer blasphemy and I would never.

Molasses is a terrible thing to inflict on any bean, really.
Baked beans. I'm sorry, but molasses is a terrible thing to inflict on perfectly innocent kidney beans.
After several years of not using it, I decided to move my HSA to a different bank because I'm sick of their statement fees and crap interest rate. The problem? I can't set up an online account to start the move because buggy site so now I have to wait *2-3 DAYS* to get a temp password sent.
FFS.
Yay! I'm glad to see it made it's way home at ladt!
A crocheted mushroom with a dark orange cap sits on a suitcase lid being sniffed by 2 black cats. The mushroom looks somewhat concerned.
"A little help, please?"
An in-progress crocheted mushroom person with little arms and legs.
Finally on the last row of this little guy before starting the cap. The ruffle instructions were throwing me for a while, but I've got it sorted now.
*used to be because it was just demolished last summer.
It's so good! The other two are also pretty great.
Fun fact, that weirdly round police station? It used to be down the street from me.
Yeah, definitely a mimic.
I know better than to engage with assholes online, but sometimes I just can't make my willpower save.
That sounds delicious.
Also, totally stealing that description. That's pretty much what my omelets end up looking like.
*weeps softly in sheep allergy*
A black cat oozing out of a box in the base of a cat condo, one arm out, face down, sound asleep.
My cat seems to have melted.
He's asleep like this.
Weirdo.
I just wish they'd included an actual photo of it, instead of some kind of digital image.
The sweetgrass babies I planted last summer not only survived the winter, but are putting up flower stalks! I'm so proud of them!
It was good. There was a lot of stuff I already knew, but some new stuff (like how to ID the different types of thunderstorms by their cloud structure) which was cool. Definitely glad I decided to go for it.
Thanks! We're pretty sure that my dyscalculia will prevent me from handling the electrical part of things, but being able to look at the materials to see would be interesting. If I do end up poking into it, it's gonna be a while, since it's currently outside the budget, but later on? Who knows...
Do you have suggestions for where to look for info about basic learning materials?
I got bored with Pokemon Go and started playing Pikmin Bloom instead. It's pretty cute. Someday the Switch game will be on sale and I'll get that, too.
Tonight I venture forth to the Skywarn weather spotting training class, which I have duly warned is a gateway to ham radio.
Thankfully, raging dyscalculia and little to no mechanical aptitude should save me from falling down that particular rabbit hole.
Sending hugs. I hope it turns out to be something simple and easily treatable. โค๏ธ
Yeah, like I can get how someone might not realize it at first (if you don't know, it just looks like an unusual kind of Jolly Roger), but the fact that he not only didn't get it covered or removed when he found out that it's not a pirate flag and STILL hasn't speaks VOLUMES.
A custom wardrobe, made just for me.
For a couple of dollars a month or so, I get to imagine what I'd do if I won. Helluva lot cheaper than most other entertainment these days, and sometimes it pays for itself if I win a free ticket or a couple of bucks.
You're reporting them, yes?
I pulled up IMDB and looked up what was from that year. I can barely remember what I had for breakfast, let alone what year a movie came out back in the Pleistocene! ๐
That's my second favorite from that year.
Post your favorite film from the year you turned 18.
I need to find someone who will hire me to be a decorative pseudo-hermit*. I feel like it's a job that I'd really enjoy.
*Being married sort of precludes full hermitude, hence the pseudo- prefix. Part-time hermit, maybe? Show up at a little cottage, putter around for the day, then go home?
