Really helpful, thanks Ian

Is your research on charity banks available to registered members? Following CAF's system redesign we're struggling to process payroll, so are looking for alternative options. Thanks!
And finally, an absolute treat to hear @hilarycottam.bsky.social speak again, this time on her latest research on good work. Massive themes around the need for a better vision of what meaningful work actually means now, and the joyful need for play!
I think this is so fab- a brilliant definition of the 'secret sauce' that is social capital #StrongerThings
Ian tells his team "we should be the beating heart of human decency". I absolutely love this
Ian Thomas kicks off #StrongerThings, pointing out that the phrase "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" was coined by Benjamin Franklin in *1736*. So we've known it for a while...
It's my first #StrongerThings since 2022, and I'm super excited. Love this event for its inspiring examples of community powered change, the pragmatic advice, and the vital calls to action. Public service batteries recharging π
I think your democracy pages are down, I can't get them to work on mobile or desktop
I was chatting to our eldest kid this week about how you bring the Periodic table to life.
This. This is it.
I loved that quote too! Really invigorating session, can't wait to see how the movement grows (and cobtribute to it!)
(Pragmatically I do think staff should be allowed to work for a salary though)
The #DoWith conversation about the role of public sector professionals reminds me of the three stonecutters parable- can they see the *actual value* of their work, and how their efforts contributes to community-level benefits? For so many this can be hugely inspiring if the incentives are there.
This is great from @cormacrussell.bsky.social "The way we think about help needs help, and our approach to change has to change" #DoWith
I appreciated Adam apologising for Teams Townhall at the start (which definitely doesn't *feel* different from usualπ). Looking forward to the breakouts after this inspiring panel
Joining this session today, excited to see how we can all contribute to the #DoWith movement (and my first as a Bluesky user!)
A humorous image showing "THE CREATIVE PROCESS" as a numbered list of 6 stages: 1. THIS IS AWESOME, 2. THIS IS TRICKY, 3. THIS SUCKS, 4. I SUCK, 5. THIS MIGHT BE OK, 6. THIS IS AWESOME. The text appears in white letters on a black background, styled to look like a projection or display screen.
