And was being all threaten-y with my name. I've been playing the game for years and while there were a few stinkers here and there it was never this bad. I just hate that even if I don't engage with the chat and have my name hidden, I'd still have to worry while streaming about people being horrible
In DBD the chat is usually pretty avoidable. I've been just skipping past it for the most part lately because of all of this. I've also set myself to anonymous mode which hides my name. Although, I just played against a hacker who could see my name anyway and spammed it in the chat

What used to happen between 100's of hours of playtime, happens every few games now. I have been seeing an huge increase in transphobic hateful players and it's really ruining my drive to play the game. Is this happening to anyone else?

So incredibly disheartening to run into so many transphobes calling my slurs after a game of DBD. I've had 0 problems other than the unsavory player here or there. Tonight alone however, I've had 3 calling me slurs and making fun of my follower count. Really upsetting ):
