There's some talk about how Capcom are keeping the spirit of late PS2/Early PS3 game design alive with their recent releases.

If that's the vibe you're after, I HUGELY recommend Kunitsu-Gami, which sold very (comparatively) little and feels like a gorgeous modern remake of some obscure PS2 game.

While it obviously shows its age and ends with its worst content, this is still a great experience, even playing it for the first time in 2026. There are so many great set pieces it creates, and the enemy AI is honestly still extremely impressive. Glad I finally got around to it!
