I’m really interested in how we end up here. I guess the Scions aren’t privy to what’s looming in the background, things in Tural are basically wrapped up, and some new concern could arise in Garlemald. I am hoping for some progress on Garlemald’s post-final days rebuilding!

Pestering a friend that dropped off during the Endwalker patches to take advantage of the sale...

I want to be more excited about Occult Crescent, Eureka and Bozja were my jam but OC South Horn didn't quite hit the same. I'm just gonna need to see more about the North Horn to get hyped about it. They focused a lot on the raid instead of the field content in the LL, so I'm worried.

A lot of the fan fest promises about Dawntrail were vague. "Gold Saucer update" could've meant anything, but we got some new routes on Air Force One and we're getting new multiplayer content??? That's awesome!

It's a shame they couldn't fit BLU in, but if it wasn't ready it's not ready yet.

The changes to the dye system seem odd at first but the more I thought about it the gladder I was that they're doing it. That's a lot of inventory that can be freed up if the dye item slots are condensed into just a few.

The armoire update is also great, I'll probably start collecting gear now!

One positive that comes to mind for the Dawntrail patches, namely the latter ones, is that there HAVE been some surprises. I wasn't expecting a new ocean fishing route and a new PvP map in 7.5, pretty happy to see that.

There's also been a lot of nice QoL updates they've been doing.

It's been so long dementia has kicked in and I no longer remember what that was like.

(Lyon and Pagaga probably cannot set foot in Eorzea so I get it but I hope we get to encounter them in a future update)

I think the big surprise for me with Beastmaster was that it's level cap will be 50. I expected there'd be some kind of single player content like the Masked Carnivale, but seeing Ozma made it has me really curious how it'll play! Sad Lyon and Pagaga seem to not be involved, though.

Hmm. Many thoughts about the latest live letter. Still mulling over what info we've got. Feeling pretty good overall though? There's a lot coming in the 7.5x series that I'm looking forward to. Dawntrail is so backloaded with it's content releases it's crazy...

Something quite neat about the airship landings in FFXIV is that the city-scape below still includes whatever seasonal event is happening at the time.

Fun topic idea for this year's quest, I enjoyed having a Seasonal Event Fate to do, it makes this event much more memorable than it would have been without the Fate. Quantity of rewards is good, I like the new tree. Another step in the right direction with the seasonal events, good work.
