This is some Wile E. Coyote level stuff right here. If it was your stolen truck, it would definitely be a good news/bad news situation to find your rear axle ripped off but the rest of the truck saved. www.detroitnews.com/story/news/l...

AI vs AI. Isn't this what "Terminator" warned us against? At least the AI's don't have weapons. Yet. arstechnica.com/ai/2025/03/c...
I had legit completely forgotten this.
YIKES! I remember being frightened about rabies several years back when I got bit by a dog while I was out on a run. I did not know I could get it at a hospital. www.detroitnews.com/story/news/l...
I've only ever really paid attention to a handful of social media stars. And this guy, a genuinely good guy, is one of them. I will forever remember his "Faturdays" posts to Twitter, where he'd give his unbiased and hilarious video reviews of snack foods, candy, ice cream, whatever. Fuck cancer.
This story highlights why herd immunity is so important. Of the 58 measles cases, 4 have now been reported in people who were vaccinated. The absolute last thing we want is a huge outbreak that could result in mutations that evade the vaccines. amp.cnn.com/cnn/2025/02/...
Interesting. I did not know there was a third party doing this. Thankfully, one of my credit card companies lets me generate a virtual number with either a time limit or a credit limit -- my choice. Folks should check their CC company before giving too much info to yet another company.
Ford Motor Co. CEO Jim Farley reminisces on his cousin Chris, one of the funniest dudes ever, as the 50th anniversary of "Saturday Night Live" approaches. I am literally unable to resist any airing of "Tommy Boy," so have been waiting for this piece since I heard we were writing it. #SNL #SNL50
Not actually part of the #Hallmark Collection. Thank goodness. As a #CjhicagoBears fan, this one stings. Shoutout to @kevinjhardy.bsky.social for the initial share. I'm looking forward to the next one of Matt Eberflus holding an hourglass.
"Moving forward, we should not be concerned with isolated incorrect facts, but with the deeply-rooted stories that circulate at all levels of culture and shape our points of view," @alicetiara.bsky.social says.
"Rite Aid stores are gone from Michigan. Walgreens said in October it would close 1,200 stores nationwide by 2027. Still, a study published Tuesday by Health Affairs showed that nearly 30% of the nearly 89,900 retail pharmacies operating in 2010 had closed by 2021."
"Despite that, the job-loss figure and finger-pointing at the minimum wage law have rocketed around the business press and conservative media," www.latimes.com/business/sto...
"Make gay marriage illegal again," Republican Michigan state Rep. Josh Schriver, of Oxford, wrote Monday on X. "This is not remotely controversial, nor extreme."

I don't think Search is Threads' problem. Its problem is that it seems to have the same sort of mystery algorithm as the rest of Meta, bent on force-feeding users what it thinks they want (and a whole lot of things it knows they don't want).
#ChicagoBears need to #FireFlus for that debacle. Is Eberflus planning to hang onto that timeout to give as a Christmas gift? WTF? It gets harder every week to be a fan of this team.

I love #BlueSky, but the random breakage gets frustrating. Searching currently elicits an internal server error message for me. Hoping it matures soon.

Don't know if you're aware, but one of our former co-workers was a cousin to the band's former drummer, I think it was. Not sure that'll get you any pull for a concert date. But it's a fun fact.
hey kids be cool it’s the real @roywoodjr.bsky.social! please welcome him 👋🏼
Another day, another social media platform. The early feel here is certainly different than the early feel was over on Post. Good or bad? I dunno.
