And yeah, it is about the top/bottom dynamics, but here's the thing. It was never really properly used to imply top/bottom dynamics in Western fandom! For example, sonadow(.)com founded in 2003 used to host both Sonic/Shadow and Shadow/Sonic 🤷 (2/3)
