Filed 1986-02-28 as well, this auto transforming car robot (perhaps Sideswipe?) was probably a companion piece to the jet. Invented by Takashi Matsuda. JPS62201175A

I know right! I will not run out of content to post about for years... Another interesting thing about this patent is it's pretty close to the Throttlebot transformation, except backwards! I just now noticed that :-)

Another unreleased Transformer with an auto transformation gimmick. Invented by Takashi Matsuda. Filed 1985-08-30. JPS6239786U

Yokoyama continued to iterate on his pump launcher Transformer and created this more mechanical launcher that launches the car forward instead of backward. Filed 1985-11-30. JPS6292889U JPS62129083A JPS6292893U

Yokoyama's pumpformers didn't end there. He is also the inventor on these patents for a Transformer that launches backward when you hit a pump, and then auto-transforms as it launches! Filed 1985-09-30. JPS6279077A JPS6256083U

There are not many of the unreleased kind. Mostly they are just tons of Japanese design patents, which are photographs of final or near final toys. I'm hoping to post everything eventually, but there's just a lot to sift through.

After Takashi Matsuda worked on the Battlechargers, he created a similar auto transforming jet robot. It was never released. Filed 1986-02-28. JPS62142395U

A second "Little People"-style Transformers patent from Takashi Yokoyama was filed 1985-11-28. Instead of turning into a vehicle, it's a chef that transforms into an entire kitchen!! JPS62127088A

If the First Transformers / Boku No Transformer line had continued, what would have come next? Takashi Yokoyama's next patent was for Little People-style toys that transform into vehicles! Filed 1985-11-30. JPS62129074A

This patent for a "First Transformers" toy is a truck robot with two different attachments: a bucket lift and a shovel. Each attachment transforms into its own robot! Perhaps a bit too complicated for a toddler and was never released. Invented by Takashi Yokoyama. 1985-09-30. JPS6256076U

Dump Truck aka Dump-Kun was the final entry in the short "First Transformers" / "Boku No Transformer" line for toddlers. Invented by Takashi Yokoyama. Filed 1985-10-12. JPS6264594U

Race Car aka Racer-Kun was another entry in the short "First Transformers" / "Boku No Transformer" line for toddlers. Like the Airplane robot, he was invented by Takashi Yokoyama and his patent was filed 1985-09-30. JPS6256074U

Patent for yet another early Battlechargers-style Transformer. Filed 1985-06-28, four months before the actual Battlechargers. In this iteration, the top of the car opens down the middle to reveal the robot's torso. Invented by Takashi Yokoyama. JPS622984A

This patent for an unused six changer was filed 1986-05-31, one month before Six Shot's patent, so probably intended for a 1987 release as well. It was invented by Kohjin Ohno and has dino, car, jet, drill, robot and base modes. (1/2)
