This is fun! "Restorative Disobedience" is a new government righteously deploying authoritarian tactics against enclaves of authoritarian elites in a nation engaged in "democratic frontsliding" to prevent a return to authoritarianism.

Most of them seem like they'd do great. I lean towards Schierer for leadership skills and record of electoral success.
The most stunning thing for me about this experiment was hearing an industry-leading researcher say "this is the first time I've heard of someone testing an improvement to an existing intervention." We're happy to be peacemakers who don't rest on our laurels.
As an ANFT Forest Therapy Guide I need to take WFA every couple years for recertification. Less intense than WFR, but do you know whether SFS offers it? I didn't see it described as such on their website but am curious about the whole concept.
Same but 12. One of my friends got a hold of it and started reading at a bookmark, coincidentally at one of the explicit parts with Simon Moon. It gave me a rep in middle school.
An orange spotlight shines down on a short man with brown/red hair past his shoulders. The man wears a sleeveless t-shirt with sunglasses Snoopy print. The man holds an acoustic guitar. He is on stage, and the cover of a background drum reads "Jesse Welles." The picture is foregrounded with the black silhouette of audience members.
I heard about Welles in the first place because of you guys. Bought these tickets on presale last summer using the wifi on a ferry in Sweden. Finally got to see him tonight at First Ave. It was great. Thanks BlueSky!
I see no reason to go back to Target unless they give me a reason to go back.
Taking back the reason I stopped going just puts them at 'not making it even worse,' and they're going to have to make up for a lot before I consider it.
Janky.
I was confused this morning too, but they folded the Friday edition inside the Saturday edition.

Clearly more work needs to be done, or the messaging needs to be more broadly amplified, or both.
There are organizations actively working to strengthen cultural norms against violence as political persuasion. Minnesota Council of Churches and interfaith partners, Majority in the Middle, CRD connect. They've used press conferences, leader pledges and narrative frameworks towards this goal.
We got a taste of storytelling at an art shanty last month. Now I'm excited to hear from skilled tellers sharing stories of resistance both in folklore and folkpresent this Saturday.

I love my country!
The Twin Cities metro area, many mosques open their doors to visitors for a discussion, service, and iftar. It’s a wonderful community builder. I’ll never forget the generosity of the people who welcomed me to learn and share good thoughts and wonderful food. I can’t go this year, but recommend it.
Print advertisement evokes an old US WWII propaganda feel, featuring Uncle Sam (a man with white hair, white beard, white shirt, white stars on a blue best, red suspenders, and pants with red and white vertical stripes) on the left rolling up his sleeve as though about to throw a punch. Text reads: "ICE agents, border patrol! NOW HEAR THIS! YOU are going to LEAVE this town... Whether you LIKE IT OR NOT!” Visit us online at wideawakes.army Three sponsor logos include the open eye of the Wide Awakes, a stylized GAR for Grabs Army of the Republic, and what could be an analog clock face? with the 1 and 12 off-center, logo for the American Anti-Manhunting League. Small text at the bottom reads "Prepared and paid for by 76 words, www.76words.com" Text on the side, oriented along left margin, reads "Baker & Goodwin, Printers, Printing-House Square, across from City Hall, N.Y."

OMG. I was just wishing the Prairie Fire Lady Choir was still a thing yesterday and to learn that an iteration is still around?!? What a blessing! Thank you for this post.

We go twice a year and every time my favorite picture is the kids interacting with these.
This man spoke with a class I took in DC, "National Capitol Semester for Seminarians," back in 2004. I was surprised our Prof, who had been a Dem consultant, would invite him and I was angry about his support of war. But he did help me understand the neocon take.
I hope his words still resonate.
Every time I talk to someone outside of Minnesota, we always spend time on *really* basic things they have don’t understand about what is happening here.
So let’s do a Q&A. What are your most basic questions about what’s going on in Minnesota?
Your last meme saved is your moral philosophy
I'm in tears sharing this doc with my young teens, who are recognizing places we've traveled and feeling less alone. Thank you for adding this beauty to our world.
This would be my first visit to the Trylon but I would 100% be first in line.
I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps,
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps:
His day is marching on.
ICE attacked an observer after they tailed a group of clergy on a spiritual pilgrimage.
Our digital producer @sam.vp just so happened to be with the clergy on their journey. He spoke with the observer who was attacked and others who witnessed the assault.

Took my kids through it yesterday. I loved the polish and all the interactivity!
I've been sharing the basics of this with everyone ever since I learned about her research.
Why should you push past your comfort zone and not be Minnesota nice to masked agents? Wouldn't that just provoke them to violence?
No, actually; your loud, explicit disapproval could save lives.
