It felt like a very refreshing take on a historical drama by making folk hero Gil-Dong a woman who was an eonlyeo, and a court physician.

My two favorite moments from #ToMyBelovedThiefEp14 were Prince Dowol listening to Eun-jo describe how he’s always been by her side, and of course the final scene. I can’t wait for the finale. The people have taken up Gil-dong’s mantle. #ToMyBelovedThief #NamJihyun #MoonSangmin

But different strokes for different folks

I think the ML definitely got better as time went on too but NJH really shown in this drama. It was funny seeing some ppl hate it compared to MoonRiver which I found too showy/childish.

I haven’t finished yet, but I’ve really loved the warm, gentle energy of this sageuk - it’s been a refreshing change of pace from other dramas I’ve been watching

There is something simple & old-school about it, but without the harshness of some older dramas

Very happy to report that the drama was an utter gem. Good story lines, sweet main couple moments, not a big budget drama but one with big heart. I think that MoonRiver airing right before it aired pilot people off it unfortunately.

I really enjoyed him in Queens Umbrella and he seems a lot more restrained. I was leery of the trope after i hated it so much in Moon River but its a lot more restrained. NJH is truly slamming it out of the park. I am feeling confident after 6 good eps but I will let you know more after this weekend
