I'll pick a #kdrama today and go with #MrSunshine. Story, acting, cinematography and music are all fantastic. So many feels! I still think about it years after watching it.

Loving Yoo Yeon Seok as #PhantomLawyer he is so funny and still sweet in this one. Dong Mae was my favorite character in #MrSunshine and When the Phone Rings is one of my favs

The next ones will most likely be #StrongWomanDoBongSoon and #MrSunshine.

I just finished rewatching Mr. Sunshine. Almost two years apart, still lands differently.

#KimTaeRi made her kdrama debut in #MrSunshine, written by #KimEunSook and produced by #YunHaRim.

Her performance earned her a third Baeksang Arts Award nomination, this time for Best Actress in Television.

Mr. Sunshine became the sixth-highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history.

Ainda mais em um país mega conservador. Quando divulgaram que Kim Taeri faria par romântico com Lee Byung-hun em #MrSunshine, houve ameaça de boicote por causa da diferença de idade e vetaram beijos. #MyMister foi a mesma coisa. Acho que In-sung quer evitar a fadiga haha

Well that wraps-up #Kingdom, 48 hours was all that it took to finish this #kdrama. Slightly disappointing ending aside, that was a really satisfying watch with some of the best cinematographies I've seen in any drama since #MrSunshine.

Now onwards to the film side-sequel, #AshinOfTheNorth.

All the kdramas i can watch without feeling guilty once i finish #MrSunshine. As if im gonna survive it 🤣🤣😭

(1) So MANY people raved about it I decided I should at least try it

She was the best thing by far about #kDrama #CheckInHanyang & #MrSunshine made it clear her CIH role was an homage to it. I believe the technical term is

Btw, I’ve never thought of #MrSunshine as a universally beloved kdrama - I think that’s where folk set up unhelpful expectations

When I first started getting into kdramas I used The Fangirl Verdict blog as my go-to resource for classic dramas, & I remember it was one of her dropped dramas

Just finished the Kdrama Mr Sunshine. What an impressive piece of work. The cinematography and costuming were excellent as were the story and the acting. A reminder of what is necessary in tumultuous political times. I’m so sad it is finished.

I resisted watching this #kdrama because it happened at such a desperately sad time in Joseon’s history, but I'm glad I watched it. It's a love story: for a person, for a cause, for a country. We see yearning and loss, but the series ends on a hopeful note. 9.5/10 #TVSky

#MrSunshine has a lot going for it. The cinematography and costuming is gorgeous. Lee Byung-hun is terrific as Eugene Choi, an unusual character in period kdrama. But the FL was deeply annoying and a very unsubtle personification of Korea. After about 13 episodes, I just ran out of steam. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Day 6: A drama you dropped in 2025. #EYDC2025 One advantage of not starting a lot of dramas is that I don’t have to drop many dramas either. 😂 But one #kdrama that I dropped this year after a lot of effort and handwringing was #MrSunshine.

#DramaJoyChallenge Day 21: Stunning Cinematography - today, I am choosing Mr Sunshine - one of the most beautifully shot and visually stunning kdramas. You could you hang so many of the show's frames on your wall #kdrama #mrsunshine

#DramaJoyChallenge - piggyback scene. I am not a fan of them, as so many are ML's getting a drunken FL safely home. But this scene in one of the first kdramas I watched, was truly emotional, from #MrSunshine. Dong Mae carries the dying Hina who cryptically confessed her unrequieted love for him. 😭

In #MrSunshine Yoo Yeon-seok’s character is significantly lower rank than Kim Tae-ri’s character. He barely dares touch the silk of the hem of her skirt. But he’s not the main ML. Lee Byung-hun’s character is a captain in the US army, which makes him high class.

Meu Deus, eu estou em prantos, que final é esse de #MrSunshine... Nossa ficou mais fácil de entender o orgulho deles sobre a cultura deles, as músicas estão sendo espalhadas pelo mundo, até poucos anos atrás quase ngm sabia deles, e na guerra ngm os ajudou. Amei como contaram uma parte da história!

Moots, preciso de um dorama leve, estilo "Oh my Vênus " alguma coisa assim, to finalizando #MrSunshine e to sofrendo muito, preciso de algo engraçado e leve, e pode ser de 2014 em diante, eu acho que ja vi quase todos nessa vibe, mas vou tentar!

O amor sutil de #MrSunshine é a coisa mais linda e preciosa, ela nao sabendo o que é "love" e toda hora querendo fazer "love" eu me escangalhei de rir! Essa tirada do autor foi muito boa! Rsrsrs
