Although I'm kinda getting tired of these whole soul swap story in my #kdrama, but I trust my Shin Hye-sun regardless.

There are not many male co-leads that can stand next to her without being devoured by Shin Hye-sun in their #kdrama;

Ji Chang-wook in #WelcomeToSamdalri was one, Kim Jung-hyun in #MrQueen was another, and now Lee Joon-hyuk took his place in this pantheon with that performance in #TheArtOfSarah. 😊

On paper, Mr Queen (Netflix) should not have worked for me (I don't usually enjoy the body swap trope). However, I loved this show. It was so much fun, addictively compelling and unexpectedly heartfelt. Shin Hye Sun gives an incredible performance and I adored Court Lady Choi :) #MrQueen #kdrama

Yay for #MrQueen! Top choice. I’m currently only really watching two shows: C-drama #Glory (historical reverse harem with sub twink Hou Minghao also serving crime mystery solving) and K-drama #IdolI (more character study than courtroom drama so far). Both excellent in their own ways.

Hehe - yes, the ending was a bit of a fudge, so it wasn’t perfect by any means. They had to get him back to the future while keeping ‘his’ historical female persona in tact at the same time

Rewatching #kdrama #MrQueen on VIKI and wow the subtitles have so much more explanation of jokes, cultural references, puns on modern Korean slang, etc. I’m enjoying it even more the second time around.

My actual delight at starting up See You In My 19th Life for Shin Hye-sun and almost immediately seeing Cha Chung-hwa sashay back onto screen by her side. #mrqueen #kdrama

It reminded me of the cookery challenge in #MrQueen, which was a highlight (& I’m guessing an important influence) - it’s just they extended it for a big part of the show

But there’s still sageuk seriousness present too - so it’s an interesting fusion

Cheoljeong 철정대왕 of #MrQueen wins this award. It was really nice seeing him adapt to the Queen. Still disappointed that he was left in the past, without his Queen.
