I thought The King’s Affection (Netflix) was a light, gender swap, historical rom com. And it is. However, this #kdrama also explores the devastating toxicity of power. Park Eun Bin gives another powerful performance, while Rowoon is brilliant at managing the show's tonal shifts #thekingsaffection

I watched it. Loved it. Have you watched #TheKingEternalMonarch (my first Kdrama), #Healer or #WTwoWorlds? All old but fabulous in my book. More recent #TheKingsAffection (4 gorgeous men & one of them is a woman, not a spoiler) and #CaptivatingtheKing also great.

#Vincenzo is #kdrama perfection. Currently binge-rewatching it while I recover from vaccine side effects wipe-out. It is...it is just perfection. The only other kdrama that feels perfect to me is #TheKingsAffection. There are many I love wildly, but those two, I have zero quibbles. Chef's kiss.

I am such a massive fan of her. #TheKingsAffection is prob my #1 all time drama (sometimes it bounces around in my top 3 but really, IMHO it's perfect). She absolutely brings the BDE. Superstar acting work.
