I saw quite a few on the drive between Hobart-Geeveston on Saturday but I couldn't compare to last campaign.

Nissan Leaf! Interesting choice. My guesses as to why you chose it:
1) it was cheap
2) you need something you could carry large items in
Am I close?

Well, it’s 95% of people who chose to write a opt-in submission. So someone who was against it contacted a bunch of others to flood the submissions. Basically nothing like an actual poll.

Gemini gave me 8 which makes sense if you mean terms entire between those years. Buggered if I know how some got 15 though!

Do you mean the entirety of their terms between 1970 and 2013, or include any part of their terms in those years?
Do you count Rudds 2 terms separately?
“Australian prime ministers” (PMs of any country who were born in Australia) or “prime ministers of Australia”?

Think about how often you replace tyres and what the tax would need to be to cover the equivalent of fuel excise for that same period.
Then consider what a low income earner would do when faced with a multi thousand $ cost.
They’ll be driving on bald tyres for as long as possible. A danger to all.

Have you watched the Black Mirror episode “Joan Is Awful”?

People still think its just a car company. Amazing.

In the past its valuation has been on all kinds of silly things, which no one thought would happen, then they did, then people forgot about them.

Go back a bit further..

People have been saying the exact same thing for decade, still waiting…

You know valuation and profit are totally different things, right?

1 year ago 0 0 2 0

No, there isn’t. Literally anyone with one of their cars can prove this. It’ll be thrown out of court on the first day.

Generalist publications have been saying shit like this for years. Irrespective of CEO’s dickhead shenanigans. Every new thing the company has done has been “impossible” “stupid” “non-viable” … right up to the point where all their competitors started scrambling to catch up.

Another one @ludicrousfeed.bsky.social!

..and I’ve been blocked, clear sign of someone who doesn’t like having their misleading claims challenged.

I’ve literally shown you the raw numbers, without any sort of interpretation by a news outlet who may want to spin one way or another.

They don’t seem to be having any issues in Australia..

I get you’re into politics but you’re clearly not in EV circles. They’re still the highest selling EVs in the country, despite all the Musk shit going on.

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

My point is this is presumably in response to the US tariffs. I know Trump is acting like a child, doesn’t mean we need to. It would only hurt EV uptake in Australia.

Teslas sold in Australia are made in China, not the US.

Agreed. There are so many factual things that Musk can be attacked for, it baffles me that people need to rewrite history (fake statements about Tesla, SpaceX etc) or just blindly believe bot generated rubbish.
There is no shortage of *real* idiocy spewing from his mouth!

Don’t understand what “objective” means, do you?

The owners of Tesla are 80% not Elon and a good chunk are super/401k funds.
