I sure the gates are further away from the main area of the terminal for arivals than for departures. I suspect they make them zigzag somehow to spread people out before they arrive at immigration.

I'm fairly sure I had them as school dinners, that and Spam and endless Smash mash that put me off mashed potato for years. Never understood how it managed to grow massive lumps of uncooked potato. Used to make me gag. 🤮

Not sure they could do anything to control their cat beyond keeping it indoors. You just need to discourage it coming into your garden. Sonic cat scarer might work, or something like garlic pellets or plants they don't like (lavender, curry plant, etc.).

I hope this isn't your main holiday of the year, that should be 9ne entirely for yourself doing what you want. Mine is going to Thailand (alone, but meeting up with a good (straight) friend of mine who lives there). It's all about relaxing with winter sunshine for me (I currently go usually in Feb)
