Ambrosia maybe. Coconut, mayo, marshmallows, oranges, I dunno. My mom loved it tho.

Yes those V letters are confusing.
Can't these people learn the most rudimentary history?
Die Hard though not just erase knowledge of the film but all the others since. I saw it the day it came out and was just stunned.
We coulda had Hippos on a Plane.
The quote that changed my life - At first I disliked MST3K out of some misplaced film snobbery. But was flipping past one day and there's a guy sitting in front of a bunch of electronics and comment was "Is Santa doing sound for ELO?" And I was hooked.
Those look almost like Starfleet uniforms.
Not quite the same thing but I knew Midnight Train to Georgia so well I could sing along but didn't really pay attention. I distinctly remember the day I realized what the song is actually about, just sitting in my car, stunned.
(Sinners spoilers) So Sinners 2 - set today, people investigate legend about something that happened in Mississippi in the 30s, stuff happens. Folk horror?
But Sinners 3 is prequel explaining why a vampire that can create a small army in just a few hours hasn't taken over a county or state.
Spotify suggested this for me. They're not wrong.
Now I want a reboot of Brave & the Bold but it's Poirot or Marple teamed up with a DC character each issue.
There's a new Keanu Reeves comedy streaming and I thought cool, should watch that. Then I saw the trailer and it looks absolutely horrible, just completely mindless and not in a fun way. So nope.
Have there been comics adaptations of Christie? Surely there must be but I can't think of any.
Guess we need a follow up Did Davy Make a Great Father?
My bookstore does a lot of offsite author events and it's surprising how many people ask if the books are free. Why? Where do you see tables of free books?
Wow yes. I saw this at a festival before it came out in the US and was just stunned at how badly thought-through that twist is. Figured it would sink without a trace but instead it has a fairly strong following.
Avengers Doomsday should just never explain why Doom looks like Stark. It just is and nobody notices.
Same. My friends are all hey these cost me $70 while I'm well mine didn't go for four digits at least.
When I cleaned out my mom's house there were drawers and drawers and then boxes and boxes of yarn. Much of it I could ship to my aunt, the rest went in the estate sale.
Mike Nellis @MikeNellis "I'M NO LONGER CATHOLIC!" Hannity ABANDONS HIS FAITH for Trump NELLIS X.com • +*+
Amazing that in the national divorce the libs are getting the NFL, butter and cooking oil, being attracted to adult women, standup comedy, Bud Light, and now also Catholicism
I'm about 900 miles from NYC but just saw somebody in a Mamdani t shirt.
My vampire novel will be titled Six Lives and Five Funerals.
Hey I was right about the way "Pharisee" was being used.
Because it's spawn of Yoggoth. Everybody knows that.
The Buffalo Hunter Hunter is imaginative and densely textured. Except for the ending. Remove the last 40-50 pages and it'd be a masterpiece but those pages are a wildly out of place shift from somber anger to silliness and suggest the entire novel is an insane person's hallucination.
Went to make a sandwich tonight and discovered I didn't get bread today. That was one of three things I stopped in the store to buy but still forgot. What I get for not going to my usual store - I'm old and the pattern is off.
If I'm counting right between 1971 and 1975 Meiko Kaji made 21 films. 21! That's not including a TV series where it's a bit unclear how how often she appeared though possibly an entire season.
I gave up my only chance to see Ornette for my brother's wedding. Looking back I should have gone to Ornette. (Sorry bro, you know it's true.)
That new Lav Diaz film now streaming is only 164 minutes, practically a short for him. (I've seen two by him around the 6 hour range.)
Wandering Ginza Butterfly is the only yakuza/gangster film I've seen where a billiards match is a key plot point. There are even on-screen rules though I still didn't understand.
