Same. I'm genuinely curious what I did now.
@why.bsky.team is blocking me.
Woohoo! I'm in the club!! And I didn't need to lift a finger, I was there already!
Never been so proud of myself #blessed
Schematic diagram of Glasgow's "nearly-outer-circle" railway, going from Queen Street to Anniesland to Ashfield, with a dotted line to Springburn and back to Queen Street. Subway and connecting lines also shown for context. Map is self made.
New map! 🚨
Glasgow nearly - NEARLY - has a true "outer circle" railway to go with that of its more famous Subway.
There's no regular services over the "gap" between Ashfield, Bishopbriggs and Springburn, despite tracks being in place.
With one change, you can go *nearly* all the way around 😁
I'm not sure my French is good enough to understand the full subtleties of Libé's review of the Michael Jackson biopic
Even if "around" gives both ages, say, two years leeway (28 and 42) and "nappies" generously being until 3 years old, that's still only just borderline legally "flocking the nest" (sic) at 17.
I feel a Jimmy Hill Chinny coming on.
A large banner advert outside a hotel with large capital letters and background design that are clearly pixellated. The pixels are a few millimetres each in size
Tell me you don't understand the point of vector graphics without telling me
I drove past this the other day!! (en-route to the Midland Hotel, obviously)
I remember it catching my eye and thinking "I wonder what the story of that building is?"
Any smartphone make/model recommendations? I think I may be a similar use case.
What the actual hell, BBC?!

NCP Castle Terrace car park (central Edinburgh) shows £36 parking fees for 4-9 hours' parking
Parking rules on City of Edinburgh Council's website show a fixed parking charge notice is £50 if paid within 14 days.
This is an excellent point. Here's the numbers for Edinburgh as I understand them:
The six-string that Bryan Adams already had, that he bought from the five-and-dime in the Spring of '67 but APPARENTLY now doesn't even count as "real":
am I a joke to you
Transport Tycoon! Also maybe Commander Keen
I mean, we all *knew* why they're pushing AI, but it's fun when they just come out and say it.
Marketer: You get that photo of a cat with our cat food?
Photographer: Sure did boss, real fuckin angry just like you asked.
Marketer: what
ME: [wincing, covering up Starmer's ears] sorry, do you mind not talking about politics around Keir? He doesn't know about scary things like nuclear war or poverty or Peter Mandelson and we'd like to maintain his innocence for a bit longer
KEIR: my father was a drill bit
ME: that's right Keir!
I mean to be very pedantic, "haiku" has three.
I mean this is the only right answer, isn't it?

Turns out black-bagging people on the street at random isn't the best way to advertise your country for potential international tourists to a sporting event! Who knew?
2/ If this is the first time you think Trump is “acting like Antichrist”, then you have a deeply flawed understanding of Jesus and Christianity.
It isn’t that Trump “has finally gone too far”.
It’s that your “love of neighbour” -expected by Jesus of his followers,- didn’t go nearly far enough.
as soon as you hurl the first insult, you get the first block, byeeeeeee 👋
A screenshot of a Microsoft Teams window. I have blanked out the filenames and highlighted a context menu item that says "Copy link".
whichever mf at Microsoft decided that this context menu item in Teams did *not*, in fact, copy anything at all to the clipboard when you click it: I am coming for you.
And I hope you are capable of seeing that what you earn is a rate and therefore has units of 1/time implicit, thus has no right to be added or subtracted from an absolute monetary value.
"lbs"?!! Give me strength
I HATE THE WORD "SANCTIONED"
HATE IT
Scotland got fairly close I suppose - Tavish Scott led the Scottish Lib Dems for a few years.
this is, I trust, of relevance, in particular the useful guidance of "threads actually is like what people on twitter think bluesky is"
