Sir, another Clown has hit the towers
(maybe this one is cheating since she's literally a comedian, idk)
Bass!
it is crucial that the clown-coded character not only be highly silly, but also have a very significant element of performance/showmanship
Bocchi being the biggest outlier, in that she hates being perceived, but that simply changes her clown archetype into more of a Tartaglia or Pierrot kinda thing
Characters that are not clowns in the literal sense, but very much are clowns. To me. In my heart
a bird scare balloon floats over tea fields. a modernist house sits in the background and tunnels are in the foreground under the leaves

Also: wood naturally degrades over time. it doesn't take much effort to maintain it (mostly just requires keeping it in relative humidity and warmth) but if you leave a wooden guitar in a garage or an attic, it's probably going to turn into a worthless piece of junk within a couple years
99% of musical equipment / instruments do not appreciate in value over time. Your old stuff is not more valuable just because it's old.
I say this with love, btw. Bananza is really really fun! and I think it's fun to see a world similar to Odyssey's but be in control of an extremely different character who WOULD engage with that world very differently
it's great and it's also really really stupid (which is part of why it's fun)
Donkey Kong Bananza is such a funny game man. it's like they looked at Super Mario Odyssey and went "okay this game's general game design is great, but we could do without the whole 'creatively maneuvering the environment' bit. You should be able to just break stuff to get everything instead"
it is my firm belief that, despite being from very different genres, games like Pokopia and Minecraft appeal to people for the exact same reasons games like FF Tactics and Disgaea do:
The raw aesthetic magnetism of The Grid. we long for Cubes.
I mean I do agree that it's not necessary and would probably cause all sorts of balance issues, but they've added new types in the past so it's kind of just inevitable that people will want it to happen again? for a lot of people the excitement of a new toy outweighs concerns over balance
when I was a kid playing various mmos, PVP zones (like the wilderness in Runescape) would make me so upset that I'd feel physically ill. they just seemed so cruel to me and I hated even thinking about them
I've never played an extraction shooter but reading this reminded me of that a bit
I wear one of the button-downs of this pattern at work frequently and it is very funny how often I get comments from older guys who definitely don't know Pokemon being like "ah yes I remember back when computers looked like that. the good old days"
Nu's actual funnels are not structurally sound at all, even in model kit form they become more and more difficult to hold up as the model kits get bigger and the MG and PG kits really need stands to have them
that said I think they're cool and they should have just had like. poles supporting them

As someone who has worked in management in both restaurant and retail environments, I have had to tell people not to vape inside my workplace numerous times. They're always like, completely shocked to be told to cut it out. Like I asked them to stop breathing. Blows my mind.
Ghosts of machines
fit goes so hard regardless
lalah, lalah
Spilling Moonlight
this is simultaneously the funniest and my least favorite thing about Three Houses. it's a game with a divisive conflict that makes you choose a side before even telling you what the conflict is. stupidest thing for a lot of people to have ever argued a whole lot about
I am a retail manager and I sign into Qualtrics literally 4 or 5 times a week to check customer feedback, it's an extremely recognized business tool lmao???
Would adore something from Advance of Zeta. Woundwort would be my favorite pick, but honestly, Hazenthley, Inle, Hazel Owsla... there's lots of great picks
Aside from those, G-Self would look really great in your style!
"What kind of music do you do?"
"I make music for clowns, mice, or for some combination thereof"
Tiptoeing clumsily along
I feel like this is closely related to how I have a harder time becoming invested in live action media than I do animation
something something disconnect somewhere in the visibility/audibility of the human in the art they create something
I wonder if anything can be psychoanalyzed from the fact that I can enjoy the weirdest, noisiest, most annoying sounds under the sun when they're made by instruments but am incredibly picky about human vocals and can't stand a lot of singers' voices
I work at a music retail store and we recently started acceptint Ubereats orders and I have legit had people ubereats like big speakers and DJ turntables. it's so off-putting, why am I letting this random driver pick up this $500 speaker
