Empire Strikes Back was an urban legend for me in preschool (“Luke gets his hand chopped off!”). I hadn’t seen Star Wars aside from clips on Muppet Babies. But yeah, Aliens was probably my first real scifi flick… when I saw it in theaters at the age of 5. And no, Ghostbusters doesn’t count
