Eleven more libraries will reopen on Sundays, thanks to the leadership of the City Council. They never should've been closed in the first place.
As Mayor, I'll end this absurd budget dance that keeps our beloved libraries in limbo year after year.
Public Progress Solutions and Zenith Research polling breakdown between Zohran Mamdani, Curtis Sliwa, Eric Adams, Jim Walden, and Andrew Cuomo
85% of young men support Zohran Mamdani.
79% of young women support Zohran Mamdani.
67% of Jewish people aged 18-44 support Zohran Mamdani.
65% of Black people aged 18-44 support Zohran Mamdani.
Would you have guessed *any* of that with how the media has covered all this?
Omfg shut up. My parents live in that neighborhood, they voted for Mamdani and their view at night is filled with empty dark apartments owned as investments by those with properties elsewhere, these are not concerns of “residents” they are issues for financial holding companies
"And while Zohran had this inspiring heart of New York campaign, we were harnessing a different part of being a New Yorker which is being a huge hater...and harnessed the renewable energy that is New York’s desire to hate some asshole."

What we consider before using anonymous sources: How do they know the information? What’s their motivation for telling us? Have they proved reliable in the past? From a NYT piece dated three weeks ago.
The New York Times might want to read up on when it's appropriate to use anonymous sources, according to (checks notes) The New York Times, from an article dated 6/11/25.
Right now in midtown, Zohran Mamdani accepts the endorsement of unions that had previously lined up behind Cuomo.
Refers to yesterday’s results as a “mandate.” Says he’s not only going to fight on behalf of unions, but also of New Yorkers that are also being abducted by ICE in Lower Manhattan.
I appreciate that they didn’t mention the WiFi that doesn’t really work.
Out canvassing for @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social today, because it would be so fun to have a mayor use NYC power for things like free buses and freezing rent. Added bonus, checking out the apartment buildings in my neighborhood is fun.
How can these people stress me out so much when I’m sitting on my couch?!
I would guess that Zohran Mamdani cultivates alternative media because the New York Times covers him in the Styles section as a “long shot” while he is running a solid second place in the polls.
Or is it the wildfire smoke?

Yes please. I need our representatives to focus less on rigging the stock market for themselves and more on helping their constituents.
Not sure if my weekend self is my innie or my outtie, but that girl is not doing chores and I should stop wasting time making her a list.
Feeding and housing the poor will do more to reduce crime than any amount of punishment ever will

Quentin Tarantino getting repeatedly thanked for doing something Pamela Adlon did is the plot of BETTER THINGS.
among the many insane things about this "terminated approval," it claims that the congestion-pricing toll was set at an amount that wouldn't "reduce congestion," even though the program … demonstrably reduced congestion by a *lot* in just a matter of weeks. there is no need to abide by this pablum
Here's what the decision by America's favorite sports league tells us about "anticipatory obedience."
It feels like no one should have to say this, and yet we are in a situation where it needs to be said, very loudly and clearly, before it’s too late to do anything about it: The United States is not a startup. If you run it like one, it will break.

I like the DSA group chat where we respectfully debate priority level of many political actions, but I love the DSA group chat where we send each other gym pics on flex Friday.

I remember I said my Roman Empire was that movies should not be longer 90 minutes or require an intermission, but I also think karaoke songs should be capped at 3 minutes.
Had the best nap yesterday. Sharing my wellness trick to put a clean load of laundry on your bed and then crawl right under it. 😴
