Texas' new parental consent law leaves school nurses confused about which services they can provide to students The law’s authors urged districts to use “common sense.” But some nurses worry they could violate the law and face discipline for providing basic care without a parent’s approval.

Weather warnings gave officials a 3 hour, 21 minute window to save lives in Kerr County. What happened then remains unclear. Federal forecasters issued their first flood warning at 1:14 a.m. on July 4. Local officials haven’t shed light on when they saw the warnings or whether they saw them in time to take action.

not only does the county have one, but 1st responders asked it be triggered early Fri am. Some didn't get alert until 6 hrs after the river began to rise. county officials won't answer why

The predictions were way off due to nws staffing, and it happened at 4a with in an hour. The river rose 26 feet in an hour, they literally had nowhere to go unless you left the entire region. It rarely rains in July in Texas. So no, ppl didn't know. Sky be a jerk
