Wage growth may have gone up, but it hasn’t outpaced expenses like housing, health care, child care, cars, meat, and energy.
Prices are very high, and wages have been stagnant or too low for far too long.
What’s offer left out of these conversations is the fact that the economy is sharply divided and described as a K Shaped economy. Right now, a small portion of wealthier Americans are carrying the consumption spending, while the majority struggle day to day for basics. The anxiety is real.

America is the odd place where a family of 4 can make 500k a year and feel broke.
I’m not saying they are poor, but that they are strained financially. Hence. Trump lower price. We knew he wouldn’t because we pay attention, the suburban voter? No idea, just trying to keep a float.
We are in a K shaped economy right now. So some sectors, like health care, are still spending a lot of money, still making a lot of money, but also reporting that they fill that money is tighter. Two different things can be true at once. High income earners are carrying trumps economy right now.
Brilliant tactics.
1. Start negotiations. Straight open.
2. Bomb them in the middle of negotiations, knowing they will close the straight. They do.
3. We are now forced into a worse position then we were before and need to free $6bill in assets the Iranians previously didn’t have. Strait closed.
