The ECJ also found that laws designed to limit children's access to transgender issues violate EU laws.
Which means Bridget Phillipson's transphobic, Section 28 style educational guidelines violate European law.

The Guardian must be devastated, which is presumably why they carefully left out that the UK would also be in violation of EU law at present.
Brasseye's "This is the one thing we didn't want to happen" graphic, with the words floating in different fonts over an image of a NASA controller.
In the process, he made an entirely new revelation of a separate attempt to install in a different diplomatic post a different Labour figure who, it later emerged, had his own controversial ties with a different sex offender.
the Brasseye image but now it says "This is the two things we didn't want to happen"
Tweet by Martina Navratilova. "Predator. That is how he should register. A sexual predatorβ¦" quote-tweeting a tweet by "Biology Rules OK" about Dr. Beth Upton, a trans woman
This tweet is highly defamatory and Martina Navratilova should be fired from BBC Sport for it.
It demonstrates an horrendous level of hatred for a trans woman (who was cleared of all wrongdoing in a recent tribunal) because she is a trans woman.
What if... what really makes Britain "ungovernable" is... the nature of its political media and of its political class?
ββ¦trans people across the UK say the impact is still being felt in their everyday lives - from workplaces and public spaces to their mental health.β
This is why what the Labour government is allowing to happen can be classed as genocide under the UN definition of it; as in points b), c), & e).
telling a trans woman they are a man is erasing them.
I'm doing my best to protect them from your cult.
you don't speak for women and girls, just for a small subset
trans people fought hard for their rights too. stop erasing them.
key difference there was that the govt was pushing for previously unaffordable things to be more widely available, breaking down the "digital divide", whereas now with AI we all already have access to the tech despite the fact we didn't actually need or want it
A SKELETEN WITH A SWORD "LANDLORDS ARENT REAL, DO NOT OBEY IN ADVANCE!!! JUST PUT YOUR SWORDS UNDER YOUR MATTRESS, AND DONT SIT ON THE BED, IT MAKES THE SWORDS CLANK TOGETHER, NO SWORDS IN HERE JUST MY OLD RUSTY BED THAT SOUNDS THAT WAY " - IF THERE WAS A SPECIAL KIND OF GUY WHO BOUGHT UP ALL THE FOOD AND RESOLD IT AT A MASSIVE PROFIT TO PEOPLE WHO COULDNT GET IN EARLY TO BUY THE FOOD WE WOULDNT SAY "THATS A FOOD LORD" WE WOULD DO SOMETHING ELSE TO THAT GUY, CAN'T SAY WHAT WE WOULD DO TO HIM, GOTTA RESPECT TERMS OF SERVICE - DASHARE.ZONE ADMIN

one of the most insane aspects of all of this is that "a wide ranging government crackddown after a handful of newspaper cranks said insane things based on misunderstood cherrypicked papers" is considered illegitimate in every field of endeavor except this one
meanwhile the actual research, rather than anecdotal cherry picking of isolated cases, shows that you're not on the side of the facts
as long as you call trans women "men", all you're doing here is looking like a huge bigot
should x-rays be installed at the entrance to toilets
Listen, I hate the inevitability of City too, but a Premier League season where Arsenal bottle it and Spurs get relegated too would genuinely be the funniest thing to happen since Eric Cantona drop kicked a racist
looks like bottle 's back on the menu boys
that is violent conduct
yeah if VAR gives the Martinez red on DCL then it's GOT to give Gabriel a red for headbutting Haaland's nose there.
a little fucking consistency please
so yes you can suggest the Greens are being unrealistic about the scale of renewables needed to get us completely off fossil fuels. You can't say "greens oppose solar" because that's bullshit, and it's rightly getting called out.
there is a world of difference between opposing this project (which *all the local parties do*) and opposing solar on principle (which this Green council leader clearly does not! Do we know what the other parties' preferences would be given their opposition to East Pye?)
your claim is accurate, because you have included the important qualifier "utility scale", and that's the discussion we *would* be having if people felt like the pundits were making their criticisms in good faith.

Green Party MP, Hannah Spencer, holding a sign which says: I signed the letter... Not In Our Name: Women in support of the trans+ community NION logo NotInOurName.org.uk
A big thank you to Hannah Spencer MP for signing our letter and standing in clear support of the trans+ community.
Like Hannah, many women from across the political spectrum have joined the 101,000+ UK women who have already signed our letter - Women in support of the trans+ community.
Awesome to see our newest Green MP signing the @nionwomen.bsky.social letter showing that cis womenβs rights are not in conflict with trans peopleβs rights.
In the end I can't think of a faster way to alienate the community you're meant to act on behalf of than praising JK Rowling.
But maybe engaging with the community isn't the point.
Maybe it's just earning "legitimacy" points with cishet politicians and business owners.
I'd agree with that! I'm not a member and my primary reasons for supporting the Greens (personally) come from other issues. but *none* of the local parties in East Pye are backing this particular project and the Greens are the ones suggesting ways forward here!
"I want more green infrastructure, just as I wanted more houses and HS2, and the Greens have declined to support those things." was what you posted yesterday. perhaps you could have said "the greens have been painfully slow to improve their position on these things"?
yeah there are probably compromises to be found given the urgency of building. I'm sure the councillor would be willing to consider them! if people like James wanted that to happen then they wouldn't be reductively claiming that the Greens were "opposing solar power"
